I think it’s obvious on why I made this, right?

I used JavaScript with jQuery for everything because it’ll be easier. Also, I don’t like to use any frameworks back then.

Game Options

  • Four different fonts
  • Light and dark theme
  • Show Kanji
  • Hiragana, Katakana, or both
  • Toggle Dakuten and Handakuten
  • Random or JLPT N5-N4 words


  • Correct and skipped words counter
  • Time counter
  • Keyboard shortcuts


  • Average time to answer
  • Words table with kana link to Jisho, romaji and meaning
  • Copy Table button complete with kanji, kana, romaji and meaning
  • Share button to copy latest game statistics
